Cosmos Black Marble Wrist Rest x GMK Apollo

This is a special Color to match perfectly with the GMK Apollo keycaps sets.

This collaboration was possible thanks to Octix !

I filtered all the black marbles to keep only the darkest black with only a few white inclusions.
This is to have marble wrist rests which look like “void” or dark with white stars.

How many pieces and sizes will be available ?

• 60%: 40 pieces are already in my inventory and will be available on 25th Feb. They can be shipped within 1 to 2 weeks.
• 65/75%: GB starting on 25th Feb, limit is 30 pieces max. Product will be shipped 4 months after the GB end.
• TKL: GB starting on 25th Feb, limit is 30 pieces max. Product will be shipped 4 months after the GB end.
  
• Split,40%,..: if there are several demands, that can be a possibility.

This is a beautiful piece of green marble wrist rest that will fit perfectly next to your mechanical keyboard.

• Size :

  • 60%: 30cm long x 8cm large x 1.6cm thick, (11.8inch x 3.15 inch x 0.63 inch.)

  • 65%: 31.5cm long x 8cm large x 1.6cm thick, (12.4inch x 3.15 inch x 0.63 inch.), also fit 75% keyboards.
    

  • TKL: 36cm long x 8cm large x 1.6cm thick, (14.2inch x 3.15 inch x 0.63 inch.),
    

• Design :
  • 60%: flat with two large rounded corners
    
  • 65%, TKL: angled with two small rounded corners.
    

• Color : Black like the cosmos or void, with a touch of white stars or nebula.

Other colors such as white or black are available on our website.

As each of our product, they are unique and will not be exactly the same as the ones on the photos.

• Origin : This piece of green marble wrist rest is manufactured by a local artisan in Hualien, TAIWAN, a city famous for its marble industry.

In addition, this beautiful black marble is also extracted locally in Taiwan.

• Weight : from 1 to 1.4kg depending of the size (2.2 to 3 lbs)

• Shipping : Shipping will be done with EMS, it should take 5 to 7 business days of transit.

In the current state, it still takes me some time to prepare orders, please count one to two weeks before I can ship it out.

The sizes 65% and TKL are part of the GB, so there will the delay of a few month detailed above.

You only have to pay once for the shipping flat rate if you order several products, but GB Items and items currently in stock are separated, as they will be shipped separately.

Marble is a material sensitive to acid corrosion. This piece of marble has been coated to improve the resistance to such damages, however, please, do not spread acid liquids or products on it such as : fruit juices, food, detergents ,…

FAQ :

1/ Does the marble feel cold ?

The marble has a thermal conductivity higher than wood but lower than metal. Therefore, if there is a big difference between your body temperature and the ambient temperature, the marble will cool down your wrists.

In conclusion, except if the ambient temperature is freezing cold, you will only have a pleasant cooling feeling, similar to a glass table or kitchen countertop.

2/ Does the marble wrist rest feel hard or uncomfortable ?

The first purpose of a wrist rest is to elevate your wrists to the level of the keyboard.

For instance, as most mechanical keyboards are high (2 cm), if you keep typing a long time without wrist rest, your wrists will feel tired or even painful at the end of the day.

Therefore, this wrist rest perfectly serves this purpose, however, it will not provide any cushioning. The cushioning will be the same as a wood or glass table.
